Accessibility Statement

Linda Hartough Golf Landscapes wants everyone to be able to browse Linda’s paintings, learn about her work, and order prints, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We build and maintain this website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to main content” link.
• Text and interface colors meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
• Pages reflow to a 320-pixel-wide screen and text can be enlarged to 200% without content being cut off or requiring sideways scrolling.
• Pinch-to-zoom is never disabled on phones and tablets.
• Paintings, product photos, and other meaningful images have text alternatives; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use a logical heading structure and landmarks, and form fields, buttons, and links have accessible names.
• The video on our home page about the giclée printing process has English captions.
• Animated elements respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that the content we create conforms to the standard, while some embedded third-party content, described below, does not fully conform. On September 24, 2026, automated testing of all 168 pages in the site map against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA found no violations.

• YouTube videos. The videos on our About and In the News pages are hosted on YouTube, and several were produced by third parties. Their captions are generated automatically by YouTube and may contain errors. If you need a transcript of any of these videos, contact us and we will provide one.
• Card payment field. The card number field at checkout and on our balance-payment page is provided by our payment processor, Stripe, inside a secure frame that we do not control. If you have any trouble paying online, call 843.379.3890 and we will take your order by phone.
• The paintings themselves. Linda’s work is visual art. Each image has a text alternative giving the painting’s title, but a description cannot capture every detail of a painting. We are glad to describe any work in more depth by phone or email.

The site is designed to work with the current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile, and with the screen readers, screen magnifiers, and voice-control software that run on them.

The site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA working together with your browser and any assistive technology installed on your device.

• Automated testing of every page in the site map with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA.
• Scripted checks of keyboard focus visibility, the skip link, zoom settings, accessible names, reflow at 320 pixels, and 200% text size.
• Re-testing whenever the site changes significantly.

Automated and scripted checks cannot find every barrier, which is why your feedback matters.
